Md. Johir Raihan


Md. Johir Raihan is an AI researcher with expertise in deep learning, model interpretability, and intelligent systems development. He has extensive experience in designing neural network architectures (CNNs, GRU, Transformers, GNNs) for complex problems, with a focus on model transparency through SHAP and optimization using metaheuristic techniques. Currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Khulna University, Johir has published in top journals and contributed to international research collaborations in large scale data modeling and explainable AI.

Johir has received multiple honors for his work and innovation. He won the Best Paper Award at the 2021 Joint 10th ICIEV and 5th icIVPR Conference for his research on rehabilitation exercise assessment. Additionally, he was recognized for his innovative app idea, "Autistic Kids Companion," which won the Best App Idea award. His achievements also include being named the Regional Champion at the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2023, showcasing his problem-solving skills on a global platform.
